Windows Live Messenger is virtually here, with an expected launch late on Monday 19th June / early Tuesday 20th June. Messenger final will be available from the new Windows Live products page, soon to be published at get.live.com, or you can jump straight to the Messenger page by going to messenger.live.com. Easy isn’t it?

You can download it here, the build number is 8.0.0787.00.

In case you’ve forgotten, Windows Live Messenger features the following improvements:

- Windows Live Call with Verizon Web Calling service
- Integration with Windows Live Messenger phones
- Integration with Microsoft LifeCams
- Shared Folders
- Offline Instant Messaging
